Job Description

• Pediatric Neurotech experience required.
• Must hold at least one certification in Electroneurodiagnostics, such as:

  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.)
  • Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T.)
• Certification by ABRET (American Board of Electroencephalography) is required.

Required Experience

Compliance & Background Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start.
• Sex offender registry check within 30 days of start.

• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 6 months of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (required for Aya placements).
• Fit mask test required within 6 months of start (specific mask types accepted).
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within years of start)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (updated every 2 years if on assignment longer than 1 year)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella titers or vaccinations
  • Hepatitis B titer or vaccination or declination form
  • Varicella titer or vaccination or medical documentation
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
• COVID vaccines preferred but not required as of 5/29/2024.

Facility Specific Requirements

• Candidate must review and sign orientation guide, confidentiality agreement, and other facility policies including dress code, harassment-free workplace, IT acceptable use, and parking information.
• Completion of facility-specific competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable.
• Respirator clearance form or equivalent required (updated annually or every 2 years depending on placement type).
• Two professional references required, preferably from a Charge RN or above.
