Job Opportunity: RRT Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia

Job Description

  • Pediatric CRT or RRT required
  • Must have 2+ years of recent pediatric experience
  • Shifts: 3x12 hour night shifts
  • Required skills: NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Transports

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • Current RRT or CRT license (copy required before start)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only, cannot expire within 30 days of start
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only, cannot expire within 30 days of start
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - AHA/AAP only, cannot expire within 30 days of start
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required based on unit/specialty
  • Chemotherapy certification - required based on unit/specialty

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years recent pediatric experience (highest requirement)
  • Experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and transports

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)

  • Immunizations and titers:

    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 60 days (or as required based on history)
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive quantitative titer with lab values)
    • Hepatitis B series and quantitative surface antibody titer
    • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive quantitative titer with lab values)
  • 10 panel drug screen within 30 days of start (must include marijuana)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
  • COVID vaccine or declination required for tracking
  • Latex questionnaire if allergy info not included on physical exam
