Job Summary

Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) for a travel contract position. The role involves floating between units as needed and requires flexibility to work every other weekend.

- 1:1 active labor
- 1:3 postpartum
- Staffing follows AWHONN standards

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery (LDRP) nursing experience preferred

Required Certifications & Licenses

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oregon
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification (AWHONN or NCC-EFM acceptable)

Additional Requirements

Must have a reliable vehicle for assignment
Ability and willingness to float to other units and facilities within the hospital system as needed
Compliance with all required background checks and verifications
Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start
Physical exam within 1 year of start date
Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TB test or chest X-ray
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start
Respirator clearance (RespSafety) for travel candidates

References & Employment History

Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Acknowledgement required that the nurse may be floated to other Providence facilities within a reasonable distance
