Position Details
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation

- Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (08:00 - 16:30)
- Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month (with weekday flexing to avoid overtime)
- Call Requirement: None
- Floating Requirement: Yes, floating between Acute and Inpatient Rehab (IPR) units
- Holiday Requirement: None
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Locals Accepted: No, candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
- Charting System: Cerner
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty (COTA)
Licensure & Certifications
- State License: Pending state license accepted
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, and others may be required depending on unit (refer to unit-specific job descriptions)
- Tech Certification Verification as applicable per profession
- Background Check: Required within 90 days of start, covering last 7 years and all states lived/worked in
- Education Verification: Required (diploma or transcripts)
- Drug Testing: Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Physical Exam: Required
- TB Testing: Negative 2-step PPD or Qgold within 1 year of start (T-Spots not accepted)
- Immunizations:
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Titer or 2 vaccines; booster if low titer
- Hepatitis B: Titer, series, or declination
- Varicella: Titer or 2 vaccines; booster if low titer
- Flu Vaccination: Required for flu season (October–May) or approved medical/religious exemption prior to start
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Medical and religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation
Additional Requirements
- Must complete facility-specific modules prior to start (approx. 8-10 hours)
- Facility requires a clear, passport-style photo for badge
- Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed prior to start
- Candidates must comply with all facility-specific documentation and training requirements
