Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Midlothian, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour shifts, Thursday through Sunday (block schedule)
• On-call required approximately 7 days per month
• Holiday coverage required

Job Requirements

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to take on-call shifts during the week

Required Qualifications

• I-9 or attestation documentation
• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, sex offender search, and federal exclusions (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months of start; chest X-ray if positive
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start
• Required certifications as applicable (e.g., ACLS, BLS) — verify specific unit requirements
• Completion of medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams as applicable
• Photo for badge (passport style)
• Professional references: 2 within the last 3 years

Certifications & Competencies

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (passing score required)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam may be required depending on unit
• Other certifications may apply based on unit assignment (verify during onboarding)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination required
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Hepatitis B: proof of vaccine series and positive titer, or signed declination form
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR): positive titers or documentation of 2 vaccines; boosters if titers are low or equivocal
• Varicella: positive titers or documentation of 2 vaccines; boosters if titers are low or equivocal
• Fit test for mask (completed onsite or prior to start)

• Candidates must complete facility-specific forms and job description acknowledgment prior to start
• Compliance with all background checks, health screenings, and documentation is mandatory
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with experience on Siemens CT scanners and familiarity with EPIC electronic health records, who are comfortable with on-call duties and holiday coverage.
