Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS Telemetry Nights
Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina

Position Details
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry
- Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in interpretation of dysrhythmias
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Additional Requirements
- Must complete all required background checks and verifications including:
- 7-year background check with multiple searches (SSN trace, sex offender registry, national criminal, etc.)
- Education verification (diploma/transcripts)
- State license primary source verification and NURSYS verification
- Required health documents:
- Physical exam updated annually
- Immunizations and titers (Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B) or documented exemptions
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption during flu season
- Competency exams and color blindness testing as applicable
- Facility-specific onboarding modules and photo for badge required prior to start
- Respirator medical clearance required annually for patient-facing roles
Work Environment
- Acute care hospital setting with approximately 286 staffed beds
- Electronic charting system: Epic
- Parking: No cost
- Hurricane season awareness: Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams from June through November
Scheduling & Other Notes
- Block scheduling accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Local candidates accepted
