Job Description

• Position requires Registered Nurse (RN) with specialty in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Experience required: 3 years in Open Heart surgery (highest stated requirement).
• Pediatric Cardiovascular (Peds CV) and Vascular Hybrid experience preferred.
• On-call duties required:

  • 4 call teams with an average of 3 days of call per week and 1-2 weekends per month.
  • Weekend call typically from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM.
  • Call shifts vary by team (CV1, CV2, Peds, Hybrid).
• Block scheduling may be approved upon discussion during interview.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California.
• Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certifications issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements

• Must provide full 7 years of work history with no gaps over 30 days.
• Employment verification required for up to 7 years.
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years for clinical positions.
• Various facility-specific documents and attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
