Job Details

- Wednesdays and Thursdays: 8-hour shifts (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM)
- Fridays and Saturdays: 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Call Requirements: None
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Work Environment: Trauma Level 3, Short Term Acute Care Facility
- Equipment: Siemens CT scanners (2 - 128 slice, 1 - 64 slice)
- Patient Population: Primarily adult ER patients with studies including head, maxillofacial, chest (PE), abdomen (dissection), stroke codes, head and neck, brain perfusion, spine, and extremities
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Indiana (must be active by start date; pending license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year Siemens CT experience
- Proficient in starting IVs and administering IV contrast
Certifications & Competencies
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (if applicable)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (if applicable)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (if applicable)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) (if applicable)
- Certification verification as required for CT Technologists
- Competency exams including medication/pharmacology, dysrhythmia/EKG, core parts I-III, OSHA mandatory training, and conscious sedation competency (as applicable)
Background & Health Requirements
- Criminal background check within 90 days of start, including education and license verification
- National and state-specific checks including OIG, SAM, EPLS/GSA, sex offender, and OFAC sanctions list
- Education verification (high school diploma and relevant certifications)
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming good health and ability to perform job duties
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot within 30 days) or chest X-ray if positive TB history
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) titers or proof of vaccination
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccination series (declination form required regardless)
- Varicella titer or proof of vaccination
- Seasonal flu vaccination required annually (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Additional Information
- No call requirements
- Must be able to work specified shifts including nights and weekends
- Must be able to provide a photo ID for badge with specific photo requirements (solid background, professional attire, no hats or sunglasses)
- References: Minimum 2 references from managers or supervisors within the last year required
- Must complete facility-specific documents and competency exams prior to start
- No parking cost at facility
