Shift Details
- Variable day shifts:
- 4 days of 10-hour shifts (6:45 AM to 5:15 PM)
- Or combinations of 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM
- No weekends or on-call required
- Must be flexible with shift times
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- At least 2 years of intraoperative neuromonitoring experience
- First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)
Certifications & Licenses
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only)
- Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) highly preferred but not required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist
- Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience as a Multimodal Technologist
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Facility & Work Environment
- Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level I trauma center
- Approximately 500 staffed beds
- Scrub color: any solid color scrubs allowed; light blue scrubs provided on unit
- Charting system: Epic with hard stops
- Onsite parking available with fees; offsite parking with shuttle service available on weekdays
- No floating outside scope of practice
- Locals accepted; no block scheduling accommodation
Additional Requirements
- Professional badge photo required (waist up, clear lighting, simple background)
- Completion of facility-specific job description and policy acknowledgments
- Completion of required background packet and health history forms
- Compliance with Washington state-specific licensing and training requirements if applicable (e.g., suicide prevention training for multi-state licensed nurses)
- Orientation includes pass/fail competency exams with minimum 80% passing score; failure may result in cancellation
