Job Description

• Provide holistic, individualized nursing care on the Obstetrics (OB) unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients.
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills independently.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under charge nurse supervision.
• Manage supplies and equipment.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other hospital personnel.
• Adhere to nursing standards, hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA compliance.
• Support the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 2 years of Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Labor and Delivery experience.
• Acute Care experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE.
