Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Nursing) - Long Term Care

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a Long Term Care facility located on the hospital site.
Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessments and treatments
- Medication administration
- Notifying MD/NP of pertinent patient information
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Gastrostomy Tube care
- Urinary Catheter care
- Nebulized Treatment
- Wound Vac care
- CPAP care
- Tracheostomy care
- Other assigned nursing duties
Shift: 8-hour shifts, varied schedule including weekends and holidays. Flexibility required; no guaranteed hours or shift preference.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Hawaii by the start of the assignment.
Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience within the last year.
BLS certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Flexibility with shifts and schedule is essential.
Must be able to comply with the pre-start health appointment timing.
