Job Opportunity: Labor & Delivery Nurse

Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Nursery with couplet care experience.
• Approximately 45-50 deliveries per month.
• Work schedule: 72-80 hours every two weeks.
• May be assigned charge nurse duties occasionally.
• May float to assist other departments but not as a primary nurse.
• Utilize intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills.
• Work in a rural community hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii
• Labor and Delivery (4 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• AWHONN
• STABLE
• C-EFM
• NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Couplet care experience
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
• Nursery experience
