Location

  • North Platte, Nebraska

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Department / Unit

  • OR
  • 6 ORs
  • 2 endoscopy suites
  • 1 c-section
  • 2 pain clinic

Schedule

  • 2 ten-hour shifts
  • Start time: 6AM or 7AM
  • No self-scheduling
  • No block scheduling

Call Requirements

  • Weeknight call: rotated, 1–2 times per week
  • Weekend call: rotated 1 time per month
  • Holiday call: rotated 1 time per year
  • Call response time: 20 minutes for C-section call, 30 minutes for other cases
  • If V-back is scheduled, call staff must stay on site through delivery

Floating

  • May float only to Endo or Pain Clinic

Required Qualifications

  • BLS certification
  • CST (NBSTSA)
  • Must be CST with 2 years of experience

Cases / Clinical Exposure

  • Common cases include laparoscopic, cysto, podiatry, ENT, OBGYN, urology, plastics, pedi dental, GI, ortho, Neuro Spine, and robotics

Orientation

  • General hospital orientation, then 1 week into CST role

Additional Details

  • Scrubs provided
  • May wear cloth hats to be hospital laundered
  • Must have OR dedicated shoes
  • Cannot live in North Platte, NE
