CT Technologist

Overview

• CT role in Omaha, Nebraska.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
• Floating is within the CT department under the same manager.
• Unit has 8 CT scanners across campuses.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Nebraska.
• CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT (CT).
• ARRT (R).
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
• IR procedures including biopsies, ablations, and drain removals.
• Experience with 3D imaging.
• Experience with dual energy CT.
• Ability to perform quality CT exams and all procedures offered by the department.
• Proficiency with computers/computer systems, including basic navigation and email applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and handle difficult customer interactions appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience.
• GE equipment experience.

Procedures and Clinical Scope

• Neuro, Body, MSK, CTAs, IR procedures including biopsies, ablations, and drain removals.
• 3D reformats, colonography, enterography, urograms, trauma scans, and dual energy work.

Work Environment and Training

• GE equipment.
• 6-week orientation for outside candidates, including assigned preceptor support and mid-point check at 3 weeks.
• Call required.
• Holidays required as needed and scheduled.
