Patient Care & Unit Details

Patient Type: MedSurg patients, including oncology med/surg overflow
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5
Post-OR Recovery patients included
Float as needed within scope of practice

Certifications & Requirements

BLS Certification required
Driver’s license required at time of submission
Fingernail policy: Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply may result in contract termination

Work Schedule & Equipment

12-hour night shifts
Respiratory equipment includes nasal cannula

Additional Notes

RN candidates must pass a 90% score on a pass/fail open book exam during orientation (skills learned)
Candidates may not currently be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and/or Dignity)
