Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: West Union, Iowa

Job Details

• Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) only (West Union and Waukon, IA)
• Supervision: Currently no assistants to supervise, but possibly 1 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the future
• Software used: Net Health
• New graduates: Training available for new graduates
• Productivity expectations: 82% productivity (includes evaluation, group, and concurrent time counted in full)
• Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week for twelve-hour shifts, or
  • 40 hours per week for eight to ten hour shifts
  • Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
  • Typical schedule Monday-Friday or shifted schedule Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
  • No holidays required
• Travel: Mileage and drive time paid if traveling between locations in one day
• On-call: No on-call or call back required

Required Qualifications

• BLS Certification
• Occupational Therapist license appropriate for Iowa

Additional Information

• Local placements within an 80-mile radius
• A $500 fee applies if the clinician backs out or quits with less than 14 days’ notice
