Chronic Dialysis RN

Location: Shelby, North Carolina (southern North Carolina) Position Type: Chronic RN Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 2-3 weeks from offer date

Schedule

• Shift: Days, variable hours based on census and client need
• Open Days: Mon-Sat
• Guaranteed Hours: 36, may work up to 40 based on census
• Days per Week: 4
• Due to 6-day clinics and acute units often running longer shifts MWF and shorter shifts TTSaSu, requests for specific scheduling may result in fewer guaranteed hours than posted.
• All shifts are approximate and may be modified by the client based on census and staffing needs.
• Weekend Requirements: For Mon-Sat clinics and acute positions, Saturday rotation is required based on client need. Specific every-other-week rotations may not always be accommodated.
• On Call: None required

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS
• License: Compact or single state license. Any state-required license must be provided at submission, including a Nursys report for nurses.
• All license verifications and certifications must be provided at the time of submission, or the candidate will be delayed in being presented to the client.

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience (highly preferred)
• Prior experience at this facility (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Must be willing to complete care plans and all normal RN duties, including placing patients on and taking them off the machine.
• Clinicians are required to perform any tasks within their scope of practice as requested by the client.

Float Requirements

• Other locations: May float to a sister clinic in Shelby and a clinic in Kings Mountain. Reliable transportation required.
• Other departments: None required

Scheduling Conditions

• The clinic will not accept any candidate with a competing job or PRN status they must maintain elsewhere.
• Candidates must be fully available and not require scheduling accommodations.
