Travel RN Opportunity – Medical ICU

Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical ICU
• Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Float Requirements: Must float to stepdown and med-surg units

Required Certifications

• Current Arkansas RN Licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical ICU (critical care)
• Prior travel experience is NOT required

Skills and Competencies

• Critical Care experience mandatory
• Must pass a medication and math competency test with a 90% passing grade (may retake once) before administering medications
• Preferred: CCRN certification

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 32
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 3:1
• EMR System: EPIC
• Fast-paced environment; looking for upbeat and driven nurses

• Scrub Color: Black
• No open-toe shoes allowed
