Unit Information
- Unit: EP Lab
- Number of Beds: 1 lab
- Staffing:
- 3-4 staff per procedure, including anesthesia
- Day Shift: 3-4 staff (mix of techs, RNs, and supervisor)
- Night Shift: None
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Philips
- EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Standard implant procedures
- All EP ablation cases except VT
- Watchman procedures (high volume)
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Must have ARRT or RCES certification
- Preferred:
- 2+ years experience scrubbing
- Experience monitoring with Claris
Work Environment & Culture
- Very busy lab with a strong sense of urgency
- Scrubs provided by hospital (specific scrub color required)
- 4th highest engagement score in the hospital
- Great team atmosphere
Additional Notes
- Competitive market; new equipment and experienced staff contribute to a positive work environment
- No weekend or additional call requirements beyond the on-call during shift hours
