Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel)

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel

Job Requirements

Must be a Registered Technologist in the state of Indiana
Active Compact License required at submission
Minimum 2 years of hospital setting experience
Required Certifications:
- CT and X-ray certification
- ARRT Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Radiology Tech License required

Work Schedule

Shifts:
- Sunday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Rotating weekends
Evening and night on-call rotations

Unit Information

Department: Radiology (Floor: Radiology, Building: Main)
Number of Beds: 278
Staff: 5 total
- Day Shift: 3 Radiology Techs
- Evening Shift: 2 Radiology Techs
Equipment: GE
EMR System: Centricity PACS

Skills & Experience

Must have:
- Surgery experience
- Fluoroscopy experience
Preferred (nice to have):
- Additional surgery experience
- Additional fluoroscopy experience

Outpatient and inpatient imaging

Pros

Very traveler friendly and the ratio was pretty good!

Cons

The absolute biggest roaches everywhere even falling from the ceiling on people. I have heard that administration has really gone downhill as well and if you work the behavioral health unit they will screw you over on staffing since they don’t feel it is as important.
