Job Description

• Support needed due to staff leave and loss of full-time technologist.
• Position covers two campuses: Mid Coast and Lincoln.
• Role: Echo Technologist (Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Must float between two campuses

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
• Certifications:

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Skills & Experience

• Must have experience with:

  • Stress ECHO
  • Transesophageal Echo
  • Transthoracic Echo
• IV skills preferred but not required

Work Environment

• Community hospital setting
• Equipment used: Philips EPIQ
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Patient load: Ability to perform 6-7 patients per day
• Team-oriented and positive attitude required

• Number of beds: 92
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed
