Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Tennessee or Multistate Nursing License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (ARC/AHA ONLY)
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years preferred in specialty (Emergency Room)
• Other:

  • Must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility
  • Must be able to provide home address and SSN with submission

Job Description

The RN is responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery. The RN maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervises assigned personnel delivering patient care.

• Duration: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
