Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Dialysis nursing
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Experience:
- Dialysis experience required
- ICU experience required
- Knowledge of Tablo dialysis device preferred
- Licensing: AHCA Fingerprinting required for Florida placements
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Job Description
- Provide care to dialysis patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
