Job Opportunity: EP Tech - Travel Position
Location: Miami, Florida
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 21
- Number of Staff: 30
- Shift Hours:
- Day Shift: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Night Shift: Not specified
- Patient Ratios: Typically 1 patient at a time in procedure rooms
- Equipment Used: Philips, GE, Mac Lab
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, Mac Lab
- Call Requirements: 2-3 weekends and some weekdays per month (10 to 15 total calls monthly)
Job Requirements
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years as an EP Tech
- Additional Preferences:
- Easily adaptable to changes and fast-paced environments
- Able to function well independently
Typical Procedures Performed
- Cardiac Catheterization
- Peripheral Procedures
- Structural Heart Procedures
- EP Studies/Ablations
- Device Implants
- Bedside Procedures including Cardioversion, TEE, Loop Insertion, Tilt
Dress Code
- Scrubs color: Baby Blue (provided by the institution)
