• Unit: Cardiovascular Lab (CVL 746)
• Beds: 4 CV labs
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
  • Shift Options: 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days with weekly night call and rotating weekend call
• Patient Ratios: Not specified
• Equipment: GE
• EMR Systems: Mac Lab and Meditech

Required Skills and Certifications

• Must Have:

  • Cath lab experience (RN, RCIS, RCES)
  • ACLS certification
• Preferred:

  • PALS certification
  • EP (Electrophysiology) experience
  • Pediatric cath lab experience
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
• Licenses:

  • Registered Nurse License

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
• Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
• Congenital procedures
• Vascular procedures
• Electrophysiology (EP) procedures
