Operating Room Tech (CST/ORT) - Travel Position

Location: Portland, Maine


Position Details

  • Specialty: Operating Room (CST)
  • Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
  • Weekend Requirement: 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
  • Call Requirement: One overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM); specialty team call schedules apply for Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho teams
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Education & Certifications

  • Required: CNOR preferred

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 26
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Equipment Used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
  • EMR System: Epic

Skills & Experience

  • Must Have: Level 1 trauma experience
  • Preferred: General surgery, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, endovascular

Work Environment & Culture

  • Patient Type: Operating Room patients
  • Personality Fit: Flexible, accountable, timely, team player
  • Dress Code: Teal scrubs issued by hospital
