Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Specialty: Operating Room
Number of Openings: Numerous
Shift: 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 1:4 weekend rotation, 36 hours per weekend
Call Requirements: One overnight call (11 PM - 7 AM) for Trauma call; specialty team call schedules apply for Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, and Ortho teams
Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CST in the Operating Room
Level 1 trauma experience required
CST certification required

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Epic
