Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Lander, Wyoming

Job Description

Oversee day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests.
Ensure adherence to quality control protocols.
Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment.
Support Laboratory Manager in staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsible for covering both Lander and Riverton campuses.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma plus graduation from an MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or another organization approved by HHS.
Certification: Must have ASCP certification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent laboratory supervisor experience.
Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.

Notes for Candidates

Must be able to comply with state and federal laboratory regulations.
Experience supervising lab personnel is essential.
Candidates will be responsible for multiple campus coverage.
Shift is Monday through Friday with daytime hours.
