Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

CT department covering Emergency Department (ED), Outpatient (OP), and Inpatient (IP) services
Staff: Approximately 10 full-time and PRN CT Techs
Shifts: Day and Night shifts staffed by CT Techs
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Fixed CT scanners
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech (transitioning to Expanse)

Typical Procedures

All ordered ED CT exams
All inpatient CT exams
All outpatient CT exams

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
ARRT Certification in CT
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist within the last year

Work Environment & Culture

Teamwork mindset is highly valued
Dress code: Green scrubs
Variable weekends and on-call schedule

Additional Notes

Floating to other areas is not required for this position
