Main Operating Room
Number of Beds: 284
OR Staff: 55
Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 1 trauma RN, 1 trauma tech (variable)
Night Shift Staffing: 2 RNs, 1 tech, plus on-call RNs and techs
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN in the Operating Room (OR), including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience with MEDITECH EMR system

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with trauma cases
Experience with vascular procedures

Typical Procedures

All general OR procedures except burns, transplants, and heart surgeries

Work Environment & Culture

Personality fit: Easy going, self-motivated
Competitive market; unit encourages candidates with relevant skills and certifications

This position offers a day shift schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM.
