Job Description

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will perform technical CT procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment. Responsibilities include creating diagnostic images and ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work with a variety of patients including trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient (including intensive care), and research patients. The role also involves performing specialized CT scan-guided procedures and enforcing radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health regulations.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday
• 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS certification

Additional Information

• Entry-level candidates with limited or no experience may be considered but will be assigned a skill level based on experience.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
