  • 9 Labor & Delivery
  • 3 Swing Rooms
  • 2 Operating Rooms
  • 3 Bed OBED
• Patient Ratios: 1-2
• Unit Staffing:

  • Unit Secretary and Scrub Tech
  • Dedicated CRNA & Midwife in-house 24/7
  • OBGYN on call
• Documentation System: CPN and Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
• Floating Policy: May float to mother/baby or outside department as needed
• Patient Experience Requirement: Maintain above 75%

• Fetal Scalp Electrode (FSE)
• Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4)
• Postpartum Hemorrhage Management (JADA system)
• Nitrous Oxide Administration

Dress Code

• Required uniform: Hot pink and black (preferably hot pink on top)

• The unit utilizes a laborist team model with 24/7 midwives and dedicated CRNA and OB on call.
• Focus on personalizing each birth experience to meet patients’ desires and needs.
• Couple care in the postpartum unit to promote breastfeeding, with donor milk availability when needed.
• 8-bed Level 2 NICU with NNP dedicated to the unit 24/7, available for high-risk deliveries.
