Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Pensacola, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit & Facility Overview
- Cath Lab with 4 procedure rooms and a holding area
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Unit staffing includes 2 cardiovascular analysts, 10 RNs, and 6 respiratory techs
- Equipment used: GE imaging systems
- Documentation systems: Merge Hemodynamics, Meditech EMR
- Scheduling: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 6-8 call shifts per month, including one weekend per month
- Floating to other units is not required
Procedures Performed
- Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LHC, RHC)
- Coronary Intervention
- Pacemaker (PPM) insertion
- Electrophysiology (EP) studies with ablation
- Watchman device placement
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Sedation experience
- Experience with atherectomy procedures
- Experience with Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with circulating in the Cath Lab
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is a plus
- Scrubbing and monitoring experience is welcome but not required
Work Hours
- 36 hours per week (typically four 10-hour shifts)
This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized cardiac catheterization lab within a facility recognized for advanced cardiac and stroke care.
