Overview
- Travel assignment in Nashville, Tennessee
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- 16-bed CVICU in Tower
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- ACLS
- BLS
- PA catheter skills
- Hemodynamic monitoring skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
Unit Details
- Patient ratio is 1:2, with 1:1 for certain device patients
- Floating is typically to other ICUs and can include other floors
- Unit has a free-floating charge nurse, unit secretary, and Administrative Care Tech on weekdays
- Uses Meditech for documentation
Clinical Focus
- Post-operative cardiac surgery care
- ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS
- Central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
