Unit Information

• Unit: Acute Care Med/Surg
• Number of Beds: 34
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Patient Population: Geriatric, adults, occasional pediatrics (pediatrics not assigned to traveler)
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, telemetry monitor
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner

Work Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend Hours: Occasional weekends required (same shift hours)
• Call Requirements: Only when down staffed or placed on call
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Med Surg experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
• One year or more of total travel nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Job Responsibilities & Expectations

• Flexible and willing to assist where needed
• Possible float to care for inpatient holds
• Care for telemetry, surgical, and general medical patients

Dress Code

• Scrubs of any color
• Closed-toed shoes required
• Only scrubs allowed for clinical staff
