Radiation Therapist Travel Position

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

• Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with possible extension until 6:00 PM depending on daily assignments (flexibility required)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• No float, on-call, call-back, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Patient Load: Approximately 20 patients per Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator
• Primary Procedures: All external beam radiation treatments
• Unit Equipment: 3 Varian TrueBeam Linacs
• Charting system experience preferred: Epic
• Scrubs: Traveler’s choice

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of radiation therapy experience
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Desired skills: Experience with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA systems

Additional Information

• Start date: ASAP
• Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation; orientation week not guaranteed
• Compliance: Medical portion of compliance must be started within 48 hours of offer acceptance (24 hours for quick start)
• Interview: Teams interview with the manager required
