ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Waupaca, Wisconsin
• 10 weeks
• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license
• AHA BLS
• NIHSS
• 1-2+ years of experience
• Must have ICU/IMU experience
• Comfortable with some patients being on drips

Preferred Qualifications

• Stepdown experience
• Critical access experience
• BSN
• Previous travel preferred

Unit / Setting

• Stepdown ICU RN
• Primary location is a Level IV Trauma Center
• 20-bed unit with an average daily census of 12-18
• More of a stepdown/med-surg setting with higher acuity than a true ICU due to the rural nature of the hospital

Float Scope

• Throughout the facility within skillset
• To other facilities within a 60-mile radius

Charting

• EPIC within the last year

Additional Notes

• No call or callback requirements
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
• Black scrubs
• Patient ratios are 1:5 normally and can go up to 1:7 on busier days
