Job Details

• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: 12-hour PM/Night shifts covering 3 PM to 7 AM
• Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float Requirements: Not required
• On Call/Call-Back: No call required

Experience & Skills

• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 3+ years in ER nursing
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required
• Certifications Required:

  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA PALS
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Indiana or Compact State Nursing License
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass 12 lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
  • Experience with Epic charting system within the last year
  • Level II Trauma experience required
  • Pediatric experience preferred
• Desired Attributes: Hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, social

• Location Restriction: 40-mile radius rule; no local candidates

• Orientation: GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week; guaranteed hours except during holidays when unit is closed
