Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Shift: 12-hour variable shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend/holiday rotation: every other weekend and holiday
• Primary unit: 40-bed medical/surgical/pediatric unit
• Patient ratios: days and evenings max 5 patients (average 4), nights max 7

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• IMC experience

Float Scope

• May float to alike units within skillset, including IMC
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior

Additional Details

• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Call back minimum is 2 hours
• Professional-colored scrubs are allowed
