Registered Nurse — Medical-Surgical

Wausau, Wisconsin

Contract

Travel assignment
13 weeks
36 guaranteed hours per week

Schedule

12-hour day/night variable shifts
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Every other weekend and holiday

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin RN license
BLS certification from AHA or ARC
2+ years of medical-surgical experience
Recent hospital experience
Trauma Level II experience
Prior travel experience required

Clinical Setting

Post-surgical care unit for adult and geriatric patients
40-bed inpatient unit
Fast-paced unit with frequent admissions
Typical nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 or 5 on days/evenings; 1:5-7 on nights
Float to all inpatient units

Additional Notes

Epic experience required
Flu season policy requires masking for travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination
