Job Opportunity: Virtual Care Coordinator
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Summary
The Virtual Care Coordinator supports virtual patient care activities and promotes patient-focused care through remote monitoring and telemedicine services. This role involves collaboration with clinical teams, leadership, technology partners, and vendors to ensure quality and safety in virtual care programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance and peer reviews of telehealth and virtual patient observation programs.
- Evaluate program performance and recommend improvements.
- Meet regularly with senior leadership to discuss quality metrics and workflow expansion.
- Lead case reviews and implement solutions with hospital partners.
- Triage and assign cases for virtual monitoring and observation.
- Collaborate on telehealth policy and workflow development and implementation.
- Maintain operational databases tracking telehealth program performance, response times, and quality metrics.
- Identify trends and participate in corrective action planning.
- Train staff on telehealth and remote monitoring workflows, platform use, and documentation.
- Serve as liaison between physicians, clinical staff, technology partners, and vendors regarding telehealth platform issues.
- Complete Virtual Care Coordinator orientation successfully.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant clinical license and experience in virtual care or telehealth coordination (specific license not stated; role requires clinical collaboration and understanding of telehealth platforms).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
