Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Techno

Role Overview

  • Assists the radiologist with invasive diagnostic techniques specialized to maternal fetal ultrasound processes.
  • Performs maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations under general or direct supervision.
  • Provides standardization and training to residents for these exams.
  • Consults with patients, evaluates contraindications, and advises the radiologist and/or referring OB provider on results.

Schedule

  • Days
  • 4x 9-hour shifts and 1 x 4-hour shift (1/2-day Friday)

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography (3 years of experience)
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ARDMS (OB) or ARDMS (OB GYN)
  • Completion of a twelve-month certificate program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience performing complex ob/gyn or vascular scans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification
