PCU Float

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Wichita Falls, Texas
• Primarily supports Med Surg and requires floating
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Alternating 36/48-hour schedule required
• Weekends required as needed, including most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules are not approved

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Med Surg experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience is strongly preferred
• Epic experience is strongly preferred

Certifications

• NRP, as applicable
• Chemotherapy certification, as applicable
• TNCC, as applicable
• EFM, as applicable
• ENPC, as applicable
• NIH Stroke Certification, as applicable

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation
