Overview

• Travel/contract role in Auburn, New York
• Start date must be 1/4/2027
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Day shift options: 4x10 or 5x8
• Floating required based on facility needs
• Call is required
• Weekend requirement based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Call

• Call frequency: 11–14 days, including weekday and rotating weekend call
• Holiday call: 24-hour call on holidays, rotating
• Response time for call: under 30 minutes

Skills and Experience

• Diagnostic cardiac cath lab
• Interventional cardiac cath lab
• Diagnostic catheterizations, adult
• Interventional catheterizations
• Left heart catheterization
• Pulmonary artery line / Swan Ganz monitoring
• Right heart catheterization
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Compliance and Onboarding

• All requested time off must be submitted with the application
• Additional time off after offer will not be approved
• Background check required
• Drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Fit test required within 12 months of start and annually
• TB screening required within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• COVID vaccination records or declination required
• Two professional references required within 3 years of hire
• Skills checklist required
• New York state registry and Medicaid exclusion list checks required

Additional Notes

• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
• Local rate differs from travel rate
• If the New York license has been applied for but not yet issued, the candidate may still be submitted if the application date is provided
