Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Durham, North Carolina
  • Targeted start date: 10/5/2026, latest 10/19/2026
  • 13-week contract
  • First-timer candidates accepted
  • Local candidates accepted within 75 miles
  • Bi-weekly orientations
  • Navy blue scrubs provided

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 4 x 10-hour shifts, 0700–1730
  • Call required:
    • Weekday call: Monday–Friday, 1730–0700
    • Weekend call: Friday 1730–Monday 0700
    • Average of 10–12 call shifts per month
    • Average of 2–3 weekend call shifts every 2 months

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • CCI
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

  • Drivers license or government-issued photo ID
  • Social Security Card only if used for I-9
  • E-Verify or attestation required
  • Background check completed within 90 days of start and cleared before start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM within 90 days of start
  • HHS/OIG within 90 days of start
  • OFAC search within 30 days of start
  • Transcript or diploma required for CT Tech
  • Education verification required for all Radiology / Cardiology candidates
  • Acknowledgement of PassFail Testing required for all candidates except Hospice RNs, Medical Assistants, and RRTs
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required for all candidates except Hospice RNs, Medical Assistants, and RRTs
  • Unit-specific competency exam required
  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit mask within 12 months of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap required every 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
  • TB questionnaire required and updated annually
  • Measles immunity documentation required
  • Mumps immunity documentation required
  • Rubella immunity documentation required
  • Hepatitis B documentation required
  • Varicella immunity documentation required
  • Negative 10-panel drug test with THC within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season
  • Polio vaccine or school attestation required
  • 2 professional references required, with at least 1 supervisor reference
  • Employment application required
  • Skills checklist required and updated annually
  • 7 years of work history must be included on the employment application
