Oncology Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Cellular Therapy
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Key job details

Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Holiday requirement: Holiday cluster, 2 major and 2 minor holidays
Floating: May float to oncology or med-surg
Patient ratio: 1:3–4
First-time travelers: Not accepted
Local candidates: Must live at least 50 miles away from all CHN facilities

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
ONS/ONCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Stem cell experience
Critical care experience
Experience with Epic

Experience preferences

Experience with stem cell, oncology, and critical care

Notes

Call is not required
The unit provides cellular therapy treatments including autologous transplant, allogeneic transplant, CAR-T, and TILS
IV chemotherapy is given prior to cellular therapy treatment
