Registered Nurse — PCU/Oncology

Location

Dayton, Ohio

Contract

Travel/contract assignment
13-week contract option
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
36 or 48 hours per week
No block schedule

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred

Sickle cell experience
Chemo certification
Level 1 or Level 2 experience
Travel experience

Unit details

Medical and radiation oncology unit
Mixed acuity unit with Med Surg and Advanced Care patients
Typical patient ratio is 1:4, with ratios up to 1:5–6
Nurses with ONS certification administer chemotherapy on the unit

Other notes

Navy blue scrubs
N95 fitting is required before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered or needed
Requests for time off must be submitted with the initial application; no additional RTO is added after an offer
RTO approval is at manager discretion
