Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
36 hours per week
13-week assignment
Locals are welcome

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
1 year of Cardiac Stepdown experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Background check completed within 30 days of start
Education verification for the highest level of education
Diploma or official transcript/third-party verification for degree
Drug screen within 30 days of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
Annual physical or statement of health within 1 year of start
Fit test within 12 months
Tdap vaccination or declination
Proof of immunity or vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
Flu vaccination or approved exemption status on file during flu season
Mandatory reporter certifications for child abuse and dependent adult abuse
SING check results
Sex offender search
OFAC sanctions list search
EPLS/GSA/SAM verification
HHS/OIG verification
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Core competency exams I, II, and III
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
