Job Overview

• Location: Carson City, Nevada
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours
• Hours: 40 per week

Schedule

• Typically one weekday off
• Shift times are either 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Call is required on weekdays until 6:00 PM
• Weekend call rotates, averaging one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Nevada
• NMTCB or ARRT (NM)
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience

Experience Preferences

• One year of experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are preferred not to apply

Work Environment

• GE equipment
• Sectra PACS
• Epic EMR

• Blocked schedules are not allowed

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID

• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening

• Nevada fingerprint waiver and criminal history statement
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask testing
• TB screening or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu documentation
• Competency exam with an 80% score
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam with an 80% score
