Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Macon, Georgia
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Unit has 3 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
• Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Maximum 7 days RTO
• 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• Verification of most recent employer
• Photo ID
• Background check completed before start
• Education verification of related degree
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination
• Work history verification
• Color blind testing
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Annual background check updates
• Annual skills checklist update

Call and Floating

• Call required: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per week
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed

Holidays

• Expected to work major holidays that fall during the assignment, based on the number of holidays in the assignment period
